Measure around your waist at navel height, standing relaxed (don't suck in). If you fall between sizes, go by the measurement rather than your jeans size. The lever's multiple holes give you room to adjust on either side of your measurement.

A 4 inch leather lever belt for squats, deadlifts and heavy pressing. Premium cowhide leather, a double prong lever that adjusts without tools, and 10mm or 13mm thickness, in black leather with a black lever and red inside.
How the lever works
Two prongs lock into two holes at the same time, so the belt is held at two points and sits flat against your stomach without twisting. Push the lever flat and it's locked. It doesn't creep and it doesn't open under load. When your set is done you flip the lever up and the belt releases straight away. Closing and opening takes about a second each, which is the whole reason people switch from prong belts to lever belts.
The lever position is adjustable, and you don't need a screwdriver to do it. Release the lever, slide it to a different hole and lock it back down. That lets you run the belt tighter for squats and a notch looser for deadlifts, back it off on warm-ups, and keep the fit right as your waist changes across a training block or a weight cut.
Leather and width
Premium cowhide leather, thick, rigid, stitched around the edges. The belt is 4 inches (10cm) wide the whole way around, front, sides and back, so you brace into the same amount of leather no matter where the pressure goes. It arrives stiff, which is what a powerlifting belt should be, and it molds to your torso over the first few weeks of training.
10mm or 13mm
10mm is our recommendation for most lifters. It gives all the support you need for heavy squats and deadlifts, breaks in faster, and is easier to wear for a full session. 13mm is the thickest belt most powerlifting federations allow. It's stiffer and heavier, takes longer to break in, and gives the firmest possible wall to push into. If you're a heavy squatter who wants maximum support, go 13mm. If you want one belt that does everything, go 10mm.
